i.safe MOBILE GmbH, based in Lauda-Koenigshofen/Germany, was founded in 2011 and is today one of the world's leading and most innovative developers of mobile communication devices such as mobile phones, smartphones, tablet PCs etc. for safe use in hazardous areas and for robust use in industry and outdoors.
Engineers and specialists at the Lauda- Koenigshofen site develop practice-oriented products and individual, customer-specific software solutions based on legal regulations.
The i.safe MOBILE R&D team incorporates all international standards into product development and is itself an active member of the relevant standardization committees. With our robust mobile phones, smartphones and tablets, you are on the safe side both in potentially explosive atmospheres and in harsh outdoor environments.
All devices are certified to IP68 and are therefore dust and water resistant.
Furthermore, they comply with the military standard MIL-STD 810G. The high temperature resistance enables reliable operation even in extreme situations.
IS540.1, Smartphone Zone 1/21
is equipped with a high-end chipset, supports a wide
range of frequency bands and offers the highest image
quality through the 48 MP main camera. The
highquality processor ensures fast data processing for
the most demanding industrial applications such as
predictive maintenance. The 16-pin ISM interface
provides a secure connection for audio accessories,
barcode scanners or other add-ons.
IS-SW1.1, Add-on Zone 1/21
for ATEX/IECEx zones 1/21, is highly flexible for
employee safety and organization. Coupled via
Bluetooth with the i.safe MOBILE devices, it acts as an
additional hands-free display on the wrist to show
important messages, hazard alarms and measured
values. The IS-SW1.1 enables vital signs monitoring,
emergency call dispatch with GPS tracking and can
emulate RFID smart cards for convenient access
control.
IS930.1, Tablet Zone 1/21
generation is Android Enterprise Recommended and,
thanks to its zero-touch functionality, can be used
quickly and is ideally suited for maintenance
applications in the IoT environment. The 8-inch display,
two freely programmable buttons, a long-life battery, a
practical hand strap and a separate leather bag with a
shoulder/belt or carry strap system are further
highlights.
