CarboTech is one of the world’s leading suppliers of active carbons. Whether it’s in powder form, granulated or extruded – we supply it. Our production facilities are located right at the heart of Germany’s industrial Ruhr conurbation.

Due to its impregnation with 12 % sulfur, this activated carbon can be used for the removal of mercury in waste gases or natural gases. In addition this activated
carbon possess very good mechanical stability.
CarboTech C38/4
an extruded activated carbon produced from selected
low-ash mineral coal and steam activated. CarboTech C 38/4
therefore has excellent adsorption capacity, in particular for high-boiling organic compounds and higher-order hydrocarbons. These substances can also
be easily desorbed using a cost-efficient amount of steam. This activated carbon is also very well suited as catalyst carrier.
